Welcome to The Costume Store affiliated to Potters Bar Theatre Company which was founded in 1953. We have a large range of fancy dress and theatrical costumes for hire and wigs and accessories to buy. Whatever the occasion, The Costume Store can make it one to remember. We have party costumes and period costumes for individuals, groups and schools and cater for every event. Putting together a theatrical performance is an amazing task, with the decline in sewing skills it is much harder to get a helping hand from volunteers, so it makes sense to come to The Costume Store where we understand what is required and how to work within a budget. Opening hours are by appointment only so that every customer gets the attention required to put together just the right outfit for you or your group.
