DIRECTIONS TO ‘THE COSTUME STORE’

You will find us at

Elm Court Youth and Community Centre, Mutton Lane in Potters Bar, EN6 3BP

Once at Elm Court come through the glass doors to the right of the building, turn left and we are the last door on the right, opposite the kitchen area, through the back of the office - just follow the Costume Store signs.

To get to us from the M25/A1 junction 23 at South Mimms :

(Borehamwood, Barnet, London, St Albans, Wheathampstead, Harpenden)
Take the South Mimms / service station exit from the main roundabout.
Follow the signs to South Mimms and Potters Bar, turning left & going past the lorry park on your right, at a mini roundabout, take the left hand fork onto the St Albans Road
Follow the St Albans Road until you get to a roundabout on a t-junction, with a garage opposite.
Turn right at the roundabout onto Cecil Road towards Potters Bar.
This road becomes Mutton Lane
You will go past The Furzefield Centre (sports centre) on your left.
There is then a mini roundabout - go over the roundabout and over a pedestrian crossing.
The road goes up a slight hill. You will see a church on your right and opposite the church on the left hand side of the road is Elm Court Community Centre. It is a large old house with a car park at the front and a large hedge running along the roadside.

Once at Elm Court come through the glass doors to the right of the building, turn left and we are the last door on the right, opposite the kitchen area, through the back of the office - just follow the Costume Store signs.

To get to us from the M25 Potters Bar Junction 24:

(Barnet, Enfield, Cockfosters, Southgate)
Follow the sign to Potters Bar down Southgate Road
At the traffic lights, go straight over into Mutton Lane
Follow Mutton Lane all the way to the next major set of traffic lights at the Darkes Lane/Bakers Street junction.
Go straight over these traffic lights (garage on left)
Continue over another set of pedestrian lights.
The road goes up a slight hill. ELM COURT is on the right (opposite a church at the junction of Dugdale Hill Lane)  It is a large old house with a car park at the front and a large hedge running along the roadside.

To get to us from the A1000

(Hatfield, Hertford, Cuffley, Goffs Oak)

Follow the A1000 south until you reach the outskirts of Potters Bar & Little Heath.

Go over a pedestrian crossing with a church on your left.

At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Church Road.

Church road bends round to the left and becomes Darkes Lane.

Continue all the way along Darkes lane over 2 mini roundabouts and two sets of pedestrian lights, until you reach main traffic lights with a garage showroom in front of you.  Turn right into Mutton Lane

Continue over another set of pedestrian lights & go past a speed camera.
The road goes up a slight hill. ELM COURT is on the right (opposite a church at the junction of Dugdale Hill Lane)  It is a large old house with a car park at the front and a large hedge running along the roadside.
